A lot of you have been expressing how much you like the art work for this record so here is a link to the artist Julie Annis who is responsible http://julieannis.co.uk
My boyfriend introduced me to Julie’s work so I was kind of a fan prior to her working with Camera Obscura. I hope you will enjoy her site.

Hi
Great concert yesterday in Zaragoza. I am sure it was frustrating for you to have some sound problems because of the venue and not because of you, but I can say that we did enjoy it a lot. Thanks a lot for a wonderful evening!!!
And the artwork of the new album is really impressive
Please, just go on in the same direction for future albums both in music and artwork

Tracyanne, what are you talking about, I never introduced you to her work! Ha ha, just kidding, but yes, I echo Jason’s sentiment…mine is one. Looking forward to seeing you guys in Northampton. Have fun!

Querida Tracyanne
¡Felicidades! Qué magnífico concierto en Madrid (8-11-09). Gracias. Espero que volváis pronto a España.
Me encantó saludarte después del concierto… I don´t understand your dedication in CD, but it doesn´t matter. Thank you very much.
Good luck!
Kisses

Well played Camera Obscura!!!
I think “My Maudlin Career” is hands down the BEST album of 2009!

If you read this Tracyanne, there is something I would like to say.
In creating the Maudlin Career, you have achieved something incredible. You have created an album, that I no doubt will listen to when I am 40 (I am 22 now) and then I will hand it over to my children. Then I will be 60 and I will listen to it still perhaps, every now and then. It will still make me smile and remind me of all things summer 2009 and the incredible time I had.
Thank you,
Balv.
