Hello, after some confusion and frustration regarding the forthcoming Brazil shows, the promoters have advised us of the following ticket information:
There are more tickets being released for the Sao Paulo show on May 27th and we have added another night in the same venue (Studio SP) on the 26th.
Tickets for Sao Paulo 26th and extra tickets for 27th will be on sale from May 10th (Monday) at www.studiosp.org and www.ingressorapido.com.br
Tickets for the Recife show on the 28th May will be on sale from May 11th (Tuesday) from Levi’s store at Shopping Recife.
Thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing you.

Hi guys,
You imagined it would be so disputed tickets?
You need to come back in 2011 in a larger house as the Credicard Hall.
Congratulations on success.

its funny. now that WE pushed so much to get these extra shows, theres ppl planning 2 take tickets away from those who don’t have one by attending both dates.anyway, its unfair 2 US, the ones who spent all that time calling the venue and sending furious emails to everyone involved.
anyway,am really really happy that ure doing this extra gig. means a lot to us. thank u from all yr brazilian fans.

I agree, Diego. I mean, it would be such a marvelous experience… why be selfish?

wanting to attend two concerts would only be indicative of selfishness if something as vague and passionate as fandom didn’t exist beforehand.
like me, lots of people got the tickets last week and were upset because friends and fans alike didn’t make it. and some of us really bothered the band on twitter and the venue and the menagement in order to get more tickets on sale. i really did not think another show would be a possibility, but since it is indeed happening and since there’s extra tickets for the original gig, i think it’s unbelievably unfair (and, yes, selfish) to condemn people that want to duplicate their “live experience”.
thank you C.O. for working your magic twice in a row. and please play suspended from class!

Sorry that it wasn’t possible for everyone who would have liked to see us to get tickets this time. We hope that we will be able to return at some point and play some bigger venues.

Not being able to get the tickets yesterday certainly ruined my birthday! However, I am a big girl (20 years old!) and thankfully to people like you, Guilherme, I have already accepted the fact that life is unfair, and that this world in ruled by assholes.

becki, just wondering if this is the right place for displaying this contempt of sorts. seems ridiculous for me to bring such a silly complaint to the band.
stay assured that some people bought 20 tickets to sell later for 10 times the price, or more. if you must put the asshole label on anybody, there you go.
btw, for those who didn’t get tickets i recommend the camera obscura ‘community’ at orkut and the pages featuring both shows on last.fm. some people are already offering tickets there for the SAME price that they payed.

I’m completely devastated!!!
As many others I could not get to buy a single ticket for the Brazilian shows…
Besides the fact that the band has lots of fans in this country, I’d like to point out two reasons why the tickets were sold out incredibly so fast: very low ticket prices (17US$) and a small number of tickets available due to the small size of the venue.
One of the nights may be considered a closed gig as I got to know that 300 tickets (out of 500) were reserved for people close to those involved with the coming of the band. So there were only 200 tickets left to the public!
Anyway I’m crying for not having the chance to see my favourite band in Brazil!!!

Well, I guess I’m just another fan coming here to complain about the sold out tickets.
I still can’t understand why people keep bringing great bands like camera obscura to brazil and make it possible to only 1000 lucky ones to watch it. It doesn’t make any sense. I’m a fan for a long time and I won’t make it.
I can garantee that you guys could make a concert to over 20000 people, charging more for the tickets and it would still sell it all.
I’m devastated, please please come back soon.
